An Office Take-Over by the Fourth Graders

Springfield Orthodontics became a playground for sixty 4th graders from Caldwell Elementary School on Wednesday, June 8 2011. Five dozen excited children and four teachers spent the morning in the office learning about different aspects of orthodontic care. Students had great fun while pretending to be dentists as they used gloves and tongue depressors to look in their classmates’ mouths. Education on braces, x-rays, and different types of treatment was also part of their visit. However, their trip was made complete when several children stuck a finger into the gooey and mushy impression material, which would be made into finger impressions. Those impressions have been returned to the students as little reminders of the wonderful experience they had at our office!
