The following are a few things you can do to ensure a smooth first appointment:

Bring any information describing your orthodontic insurance plan.
If your dentist has given you x-rays or notes, please be sure to bring them.

The orthodontist will review your health history with you, examine the patient and address your concerns. There is no charge for this initial consultation. If a patient is a candidate for orthodontic treatment, the doctor will recommend orthodontic records which include teeth models, x-rays, and photos of the mouth and face. If records are taken there will be an accompanying charge. A case presentation with the orthodontist is scheduled with the family to discuss, in depth, the diagnosis and treatment recommendations. Financial arrangements are also discussed at this time. Upon treatment plan acceptance, patient care is scheduled.
